Day 1: Pickup from Kathgodam – Visit Kainchi Dham – Drive to PithoragarhYour spiritual journey begins as we pick you up from Kathgodam in the morning and head towards Pithoragarh. En route, visit the famous Kainchi Dham Ashram, founded by the revered Neem Karoli Baba, where devotees from around the world come seeking blessings. After the peaceful stop, continue your scenic drive through the lush green valleys, pine forests, and charming hill towns of the Kumaon region. Reach Pithoragarh by evening and settle into your hotel for a restful night.
Day 2: Pithoragarh to Gunji via DharchulaAfter an early breakfast, begin your adventurous drive towards Gunji. The journey takes you through Dharchula, a picturesque town on the Indo-Nepal border, where Inner Line Permit procedures are completed. From there, ascend along the Kali River through remote and rugged Himalayan terrain. With each turn, the air gets crisper and the views more dramatic as you reach Gunji, a quaint high-altitude village surrounded by snow-capped peaks.
Day 3: Visit Jyolingkong – Adi Kailash Darshan – Om Parvat – Return to Gunji/Nabi VillageStart your day early with a thrilling drive towards Jyolingkong, the sacred site for Adi Kailash Darshan. Witness the majestic view of Adi Kailash, also known as Chhota Kailash, standing in serene solitude near Parvati Sarovar and Gauri Kund, where pilgrims often perform spiritual rituals. Soak in the spiritual atmosphere and scenic grandeur before heading back to your base at Gunji or Nabi Village for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Om Parvat Darshan – Lipulekh Pass (if permitted) – Kali Mata Temple – Return to DharchulaBegin your day with another opportunity to witness the mystical Om Parvat, a sacred mountain where the naturally formed snow pattern appears as the divine ‘ॐ’ symbol — a rare and spiritually powerful sight. If permission is granted by the Indian Army, proceed further to Lipulekh Pass, the last point on the Indian side near the Tibet border, offering breathtaking views and a deeply spiritual ambiance. On your way back, stop at the Kali Mata Temple, dedicated to Goddess Kali and revered by locals and pilgrims alike. After paying homage, continue your descent to Dharchula, where you’ll spend the night reflecting on the day’s divine experiences.
Day 5: Dharchula to return drop at Kathgodam/Haldewani or TanakpurAfter breakfast, check out from your stay in Dharchula and begin your return journey. You will be dropped at Kathgodam, Haldwani, or Tanakpur as per your preference, marking the end of your Adi Kailash Yatra.
