Mount Kailash Mansarovar Door Darshan from Nepal Limi-Lapcha
Cost: 90,000 INR per person
Kailash Darshan from Limi Valley, Simikot Nepal
In Hindu mythology, Lord Shiva is believed to reside atop the sacred Mount Kailash, where he engages in profound yogic meditation and shares divine love with his consort, Goddess Parvati, the Mother of Mythology. Both Lake Mansarovar and Mount Kailash are revered as the spiritual heart of AUM followers worldwide. Ancient wisdom holds that completing just one circuit (Parikrama) around Mount Kailash can cleanse a person of the sins accumulated over a lifetime, while performing 108 Parikramas is said to lead to enlightenment. A ritual bath in the holy waters of Mansarovar Lake is believed to elevate a devotee’s soul to Brahma’s paradise, with even a single drop of its water capable of absolving sins from countless lifetimes.
The Lapcha La Pass (4,550m), located on the Nepalese side near Mansarovar, offers a unique vantage point just 7 kilometers from the lake’s shore, making it a significant stop for pilgrims.
